Geocadia Construction Heat

Heat and dry the build. Then assess the permanent route.

We drill the permanent deep-geothermal borehole early, then connect a mobile energy station to supply construction heat and controlled drying. After handover, we assess continued use of the borehole and primary circuit for the completed property.

Three phases · One property-specific assessment

Drill early. Heat and dry the build. Assess continued use after handover.

The sequence is engineered for each property. Site access, equipment, drying requirements and commissioning scope are confirmed in the project plan.

  • Blue: cold water going down
  • Orange: warm water coming up
  • Dashed orange: continued use, assessed after handover
01 · Drill early

Plan the permanent borehole around the foundation programme.

Geocadia coordinates access, drilling and the temporary worksite with the project team before construction heat is needed.

02 · Heat and dry

Supply construction heat and controlled drying.

A mobile energy station connects to the ground source to heat the build and support controlled drying during construction.

03 · Assess continuation

Assess the route into permanent operation after handover.

We assess whether the borehole and primary circuit should continue into the completed building. The permanent system is defined for that property.

What the project gains

Permanent infrastructure working earlier.

  1. 01
    Controlled heat and drying

The mobile energy station is planned around the construction sequence and the property’s drying requirements.

  2. 02
    Permanent infrastructure used earlier

The deep-geothermal borehole begins serving the project before building operation starts.

  3. 03
An alternative to temporary combustion heating

Where the final design replaces temporary combustion equipment, the site avoids the associated fuel deliveries and soot.

  4. 04
    A clear post-handover decision

The borehole and primary circuit are assessed for continued use in the completed property.

Lifecycle option · Separate buying decision

Construction Heat is a project stage, not a commercial model.

Construction Heat defines when the infrastructure starts serving the project. After the property-specific assessment, any permanent continuation follows one of Geocadia’s two commercial models. In both, the property pays for the electricity that runs the heat pumps.

Own the system

If permanent continuation is suitable, the property invests up front and owns the complete installed system.

Energy as a Service

If permanent continuation is suitable, Geocadia finances, owns and operates the system, and the property pays per kWh of metered heat under a property-specific agreement, with nothing to invest up front.

We plan the timing, drying scope, temporary equipment and potential use after handover around your property's needs and construction programme.
